Donald Trump’s press ban has “backfired spectacularly” as he was left “yelling into the void” because tv networks pulled their coverage of his speech.

One social media wag shared the clip and urged users: “I’m begging you all to watch this, he’s just yelling into the void. Funniest outcome possible.”
Another said: “Oh, the networks might’ve found the most effective leverage any human has weaponized against Trump to date.” A third added: “This has backfired so badly on Trump. I’m loving every minute of it!”
A fourth user said: “Best he’s ever sounded, honestly.” Someone else said: “S*** like this used to be script material for SNL. I cannot believe this is real life.”
Another X user wrote: “Maybe there is a silver lining to trump’s attacks on the free press. We can’t hear the bullshit spewing out of his butthole mouth. He never sounded better. Now if only we couldn’t see him either. As in forever.”
It comes amid a growing row between Trump and the US press. He sparked outrage over the weekend by booting CNN, MS NOW and Politico out of the White House for “constant ‘reporting’ fake news” and warning: “Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow.”
The unprecedented move came after his “Nappy Nurse” devoted aide Natalie Harp played him footage of anchors on MS NOW criticising his administration and presented him with an unflattering graphic from Politico.
Another social media user joked: “He’s gonna love this when Natalie shows it to him later.” The outlets have promised legal action and the major networks pulled their pooled coverage of the President in solidarity.
Bryan Boughton, the Washington bureau chief at Trump-friendly Fox News and acting chair of the television pool consortium, said: “Effective today, the TV pool will not be covering events designated as pool coverage of the president.
“This follows the White House’s position preventing CNN from fulfilling its assigned pool duties. There will be no replacement pool put in place.”
