Donald Trump aide Natalie Harp was seen boarding Marine One on Friday, 18 September, wearing a $435 gold dress that social media users compared to a ‘potato sack’
Natalie Harp was spotted donning a £350 gold dress at work this week – but some critics likened the outfit to a “print sofa.” The former TV anchor, 35, who has served as executive assistant to Donald Trump since 2025, appeared to be wearing the Adeline Metallic Bouclé Sheath Dress from Cinq à Sept on Friday, September 18. Natalie was seen boarding Marine One on the Ellipse near the White House.
She was photographed clutching a sizeable black bag, and was beaming as she stepped into the presidential helicopter. Natalie completed her look with light beige heels.
This follows Natalie being accused of making a “creepy” move as she was spotted with Trump.
The frock Natalie was apparently sporting carries a price tag of $435, though it’s currently reduced to $305 at Editorialist. The garment’s description on the website states: “This sheath dress by Cinq à Sept features gilded button detailed, a jewel neck, and a hidden back-zip closure.”, reports the Mirror US.
“This sleeveless dress is designed with front button-patch pockets and fringe at the edges. It is composed of 90% polyester and 10% metallic fibers.”
Following images of Natalie climbing aboard Marine One being circulated on social media, some observers weren’t particularly taken with her ensemble. “Natalie Harp with grandpa’s massive diaper bag getting on Marine One,” one wrote on X.
Another tweeted, “Why is she wearing the Fall print sofa throw I just purchased from Kohls? ? ? ? ? ?” A third said, “She needs to get a new pair of shoes. I’m tired of those tan pumps she wears every single day with every single outfit.”
Someone else wrote, “Temu Ivanka. I see Natalie has bruises on her ankles again,” a critic wrote. “Wearing a potato sack for some reason,” one more added.
“If diapers and new pants ARENT in there, trump would make her show us. Notice that he isn’t denying it,” someone else said.
Natalie, who is regarded as Trump’s most trusted aide, has attracted considerable scrutiny in recent weeks after largely staying away from public view. Yet she remains one of the president’s most enduring and devoted staff members, reportedly entrusted with composing his Truth Social messages alongside numerous other crucial duties.
In June, the White House aide’s estranged brother, Preston, spoke to the Daily Mail about her connection with Trump. The 38 year old condemned the president and his sister’s association with the convicted felon.
Preston branded Trump a “national embarrassment” and labelled his sister’s relationship with Trump as “very unhealthy.”
He added, “She’s just like his fan club.”
Nevertheless, Melania Trump’s senior advisor, Marc Beckman, dismissed the widespread reporting of the president’s connection with Natalie, apparently quashing any speculation. “The liberal media is ridiculous,” he said.
“They don’t know anything about the first lady’s personal and private life. They don’t even take the time to put us on air to cover these incredible achievements that our First Lady has accomplished.”
He continued, “What they need to do is look in the mirror because they’re all attacking this hardworking, very talented, very intelligent person in Natalie Harp.”
