Athletics fans tuning in to Athlos on Friday were treated to an eye-catching display from Keely Hodgkinson.
Not only did the British star romp to victory in the 800m but she did so in a Catwoman-style speedsuit. It was a long time in the making and the 24-year-old explained the decision over the weekend.
“I think it’s a mixture of fashion, speed and science all coming together, for maybe the future of athletics potentially,” she said of the outfit. “We weren’t sure when we were going to wear it, but in hindsight an all-women’s event, which is all about glitz and glamour and putting eyes on women, was perfect.”
