The US President’s close aide – dubbed his ‘nappy nurse’ – has told how she’s “on call” around the clock and races at the “speed of TRUMP”
Donald Trump’s closest aide Natalie Harp has broken her silence on how she helps the US President around the clock in a rare interview.
Harp, 35, who serves as his Special and Executive Assistant and is a near-constant fixture at his side, gave written answers to Washingtonian magazine about the pressure of working for what she called a fast-moving boss.
“Working hard and fast comes naturally to me,” she said. ‘Work’ is not a place you go to 8 to 5, but something you do until everyone, and everything, you are responsible for is taken care of, to the best of your ability.”
She added: “Living by this maxim means being ‘on call’ for the Administration, Congress, and the Citizens we serve, around the clock, but our Country deserves no less.”
Asked what the hardest part of the job is, Harp pointed the finger at the capital itself, saying: “Washington, DC does not work at the speed of ‘TRUMP!’”
She claimed many in DC lack a “sense of urgency”, while “the radical left tries to stop, or slow down, the momentum the President is building”.
Harp is known in political circles as “the human printer”. She is reported to travel everywhere with a laptop, battery pack and portable printer, supplying Trump with constant hard copies of news articles, social media posts and favourable coverage.
Several of Harp’s statements featured emphatic phrasing that some said echoed Trump’s Truth Social posts – which she is believed to help manage, the Daily Mail reported.
“We have only four years to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” Harp wrote, closely mirroring her boss’s signature slogan. Harp also swatted away suggestions she has risen too far, too fast, insisting “age is just a number” and praising Trump’s eye for talent.
“Throughout his career, the President has never compartmentalised people into their demographics, but rather has the rare gift of seeing something in people that perhaps they don’t see in themselves, male or female,” she said.
She added: “In the end, History will remember us not for our gender, years lived, or at what age we reached what the World sees as ‘success’ but, by what we did, and that, will outlive us!”
Harp’s profile has grown amid reports claiming she played a role in Trump’s decision to ban journalists from outlets including CNN, MS NOW and Politico after allegedly showing him unfavourable clips.
