Former boxing world champion Liam Smith has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after an alleged attack on a night concierge.
Smith, 38, held the WBO light-middleweight title after beating John Thompson in Manchester back in 2016. According to the BBC, Smith was arrested after a man suffered serious facial injuries at The Blade on Silvercroft Street in Deansgate on September 13.
