Parents in the region where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have moved to have reportedly been alerted about fresh school regulations as Archie and Lilibet start taking classes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently moved from the US to Britain and are said to be residing at a private property in the Cotswolds. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield claims local families have been briefed about extra measures concerning high-profile students enrolling.

Schofield revealed to Page Six that the communication sent to families indicated some pupils joining the establishment might generate “a greater level of public or media interest”. The message allegedly emphasised that schools strive to guarantee all youngsters can experience their education in “a safe, happy, and private environment”.

Families were also supposedly instructed against photographing or recording other pupils without consent, reports the Express.

The guidelines allegedly extended further, requesting parents refrain from posting pictures, information or particulars about students or their relatives on social media platforms.

These allegations emerge as Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, gear up to begin the fresh academic year following the Sussexes’ rumoured return to the UK.

Schofield revealed a source had informed her that Harry and Meghan had “approached multiple schools” prior to their relocation.

The precise whereabouts of the family’s new residence and the children’s educational establishments remains undisclosed, with safety considerations given as justification. Harry and Meghan relocated to Montecito, California, following their decision to step back as working royals in 2020.

Their rumoured return to Britain is believed to be for an “extended period”, rather than necessarily a permanent move.

According to reports referenced by Page Six, Harry was keen for his children to live nearer to their grandfather, King Charles, and hoped they could forge bonds with other Royal Family members.

The alleged school guidance underscores the extra privacy concerns that can emerge when youngsters from a high-profile family enrol at a local school.

It also arrives amid ongoing scrutiny surrounding the Sussexes’ homecoming to the UK, with the family’s security arrangements continuing to be a crucial factor.

The precise schools attended by Archie and Lilibet have not been publicly disclosed.
