ASOS customer have been hit with a threatening app notification

Asos customers have been sent into a panic after being sent a threatening app message saying the online shopping giant has been ‘hacked’. The message, which appears to have been sent to more than just UK customers from posts on social media, says Asos has been “fully compromised”.

The message, titled ‘ASOS HACKED’, read: “Dear Asos DPO and IT, we have fully compromised the Snowflake instance. Engage with us, or we will leak it.”

The app notification ended with a link which many on social media platform say they dare not click on or visit. Asos has yet to publicly comment on the notification but on first glance at their website, it appears to still be up.
