A strange, bald ‘long-limbed’ creature with a huge tail is causing panic after being blamed for attacks on chickens and rabbits, with eerie footage showing it climbing walls
A mysterious creature with long limbs and a huge tail has sparked alarm after allegedly attacking farm animals and disappearing into the night. The bizarre bald beast is said to have a human-like head, long limbs and a tail, with witnesses claiming it can snatch animals in its jaws and climb trees.
It has been linked to attacks on chickens, roosters, and rabbits, with locals left wondering what could be lurking nearby.
Images and footage appear to show the strange clawed figure scaling a wall, fuelling speculation about its identity. The mystery centres on the Valle de Juárez area near Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
Paranormal investigator Jaime Maussan has launched an investigation into the reports, claiming the creature is agile, intelligent and unlike anything locals have encountered before. He told local media: “It’s a predator.
“I’m not saying it’s extraterrestrial, but it is something scary.” Maussan also claimed that some residents have fled their homes out of fear.
His team has now presented photographs captured by trail cameras, claiming that animal specialists were unable to identify the figure as a familiar species.
Some have speculated that the bizarre creature could be a shapeshifter, while others have questioned whether it could be the result of some kind of mutation.
Researchers acknowledged that further analysis was needed. No physical specimen or biological evidence has been publicly presented to establish what the photographs show.
The reported sightings have fuelled speculation online, with some comparing the supposed animal to the mythical Chupacabra, which is blamed for attacking livestock in local folklore.
The claims have also drawn a firm response from local authorities, who say there is no official evidence to support the reports of an unknown animal attacking farm creatures.
Sergio Rodríguez, director of Civil Protection in Ciudad Juárez, said the department had received no official reports confirming the alleged incidents. Maussan has been gathering residents’ accounts in the small town.
He has previously said he plans to install cameras and traps to try to document the supposed predator and potentially capture it. Maussan has promised to reveal more findings as the investigation progresses.
