The Multi-Loop Race Off Playset usually retails at £45 and has been called the ‘best toy to date’
Race tracks are a firm favourite with children, letting them race their favourite cars, master exciting loops and challenge friends and family to some friendly competition. They also make brilliant Christmas gifts, offering hours of entertainment during the festive holidays and long after the decorations come down.
A children’s racing set hailed as the “best toy to date” by one delighted parent has just had its price slashed. The Hot Wheels Multi-Loop Race Off Playset usually retails for £45, but shoppers can currently snap it up at Argos for just £22.50, thanks to a brilliant half-price deal.
There’s a way to make the bargain even sweeter, with savvy shoppers potentially getting the toy for less than £8. New members who sign up to TopCashback here can bag a £15 welcome bonus when they spend £15 or more at a participating retailer.

Argos is included in the offer, meaning new TopCashback members buying from Argos for the first time could pay just £7.29 once cashback is factored in. Meanwhile, existing Argos customers who are new to TopCashback could get the set for an effective price of £7.41 after cashback.
These prices assume shoppers opt for click and collect at an Argos branch, but home delivery could also be available with costs from £4.95. The racing set features an exciting series of loops, with players sending their cars hurtling around the track as they compete to score points and be the first to complete the enormous loop.

For even more racing fun, the track can be connected to other Hot Wheels sets, making it a tempting option for little car enthusiasts. However, Argos warns that the track isn’t compatible with every Hot Wheels vehicle, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Other tracks for kids
Other children’s toys along a similar theme include a Race Car Track Set on Amazon, priced at £29.99. This comes with 329 track pieces and accessories, with six different construction trucks.
Its snap-fit construction is said to make assembly and dismantling “easy”. Meanwhile, for youngsters who are enthusiasts of dinosaurs, Smyths Toys has a modest reduction on the Jurassic Park Dinosaur Super Loop Race Track Set. That’s been reduced from £29.99 to £24.99.
Looking at reviews for the Hot Wheels Multi-Loop Race Off Playset, one noted: “Bought for my six-year-old grandson, he loves it. Lots of fun playing with it. It was on sale, so a bargain!”.
Another added: “An easy-to-assemble track providing hours of fun. The sturdy track clips together well and stays together during play, even after a few goes around it. The instructions are simple to follow to get the most from the track play.”
‘My children were so excited’.
A third highly satisfied customer wrote: “I received this the other day, and I couldn’t wait to get it out of the box. My children were so excited and thought Christmas had come early.
“We as a family spent a good few hours playing this, and the boys haven’t put it down since. It’s a great toy; once put together, it stays intact. It has been well made.
“It’s not common for my children to play with the same toy for long periods of time but this keeps them occupied for hours. Best toy to date.”
Though, one shopper did deduct a star, observing: “The grandchildren loved this and had fun for hours. The reason for only 4 stars is the fact there is only one car for a two track toy, and annoying that other Hot Wheels cars don’t work the same.”
