Men’s Armani Exchange watch drops to £100 and value ‘will not go decrease earlier than Christmas’

‘Really classy bit of kit. Looks expensive. It has a very nice face in dark blue and gold. The strap is also dark blue.’

Finding a Christmas present that looks expensive without spending a fortune can be tricky, particularly when shopping for someone who loves designer accessories. But Argos has reduced an Armani Exchange Men’s Stainless Steel Blue Strap Watch from £200 to £100 in its Black Friday sale, offering shoppers a £100 saving ahead of the festive season.

Better still, the watch is covered by Argos’ Price Guarantee, meaning the displayed price of that product (purchased between October 30 and December 1) won’t go lower before midnight on Christmas Day. If the displayed price does go lower before this date and time, Argos will give shoppers a voucher in the form of an e-Gift card for the difference between what they paid and the lower price.

The watch has a bold, sophisticated look, with a deep blue dial and matching stainless steel bracelet that gives it a modern twist on a classic designer timepiece. Its rose gold-tone hands and hour markers add a subtle contrast to the rich blue finish, making it a smart choice for everything from office outfits to special occasions.

Beyond its appearance, the watch features a chronograph function for tracking time, alongside a world time feature that could come in handy for frequent travellers. Its quartz movement also means there’s no need for manual winding.

The stainless steel bracelet has an adjustable fit and a secure double push-button folding clasp. In addition, 50-metre water resistance offers protection against everyday splashes and ‘brief water exposure’.

Another option is the Olevs men’s waterproof watch that’s reduced from £138 to £40.62 on Amazon. That one is waterproof up to 30m.

At Debenhams, there is the Heritor Automatic Aries Skeleton Dial Bracelet Watch, which is currently available for £104.72, down from £1,000, offering shoppers huge savings. This one is white for those who want a different colour scheme and it has a skeleton dial design and dual time zone display.

The Armani Exchange Men’s Stainless Steel Blue Strap Watch has racked up high ratings at Argos. One person said: “I bought this watch six months ago and I am thoroughly impressed, not only with the durability and comfort, but the quality of the watch is very high as well as matching with the majority of outfits.”

Another added: “I’ve just bought this watch for my husband’s 60th birthday, he’s over the moon with it and loves the colour.”

A third person wrote: “Really classy bit of kit. Looks expensive. It has a very nice face in dark blue and gold. The strap is also dark blue.”

Some shoppers disagreed slightly, as one said: “The watch is really classy but is a darker blue than shown, but nevertheless I am very pleased with it.”

Another wrote: “Nice looking watch, but the packaging makes the item look cheaper. Could do with a watch cushion in the box.”
