Prince Andrew ‘pulls exaggerated sorrowful face’ as he sheds tears at Queen’s funeral
Prince Andrew was “trying to show the world how sad he is” at the Queen’s funeral, a body language expert has said.
The claim comes as members of the Royal Family are front and centre of the funeral of the late monarch Queen Elizabeth II.
Claims Andrew was “exaggerating” his facial expression have come from Adrianne Carter, the Face Whisperer, who felt that the Duke of York’s reaction was not entirely genuine.

Speaking to the Daily Star she said: “Andrew [is] pulling an exaggerated sorrowful face it looks to me.
“Looks like he wants to show the world how much he’s affected.”

Andrew has played a large role in the aftermath of his mother’s death, featuring at a range of events including the procession to the Lying-In-State, the vigil and now the funeral.
He was snapped in the Land Rover travelling from Aberdeen International Airport to Balmoral Castle, where Her Majesty passed away.
It seems that Adrianne isn’t alone in her take, with some people on Twitter also taking a slightly questioning tone regarding in the Prince.

Some however seemed to think he was genuinely upset.
Taking to Twitter, @debhennessy21 said: “Watching the funeral. The King touching a gloved hand to his nose, Andrew holding back tears. Feeling rather emotional myself. The young gentlemen carrying the coffin – such concentration and sadness.”
Agreeing, @cottoncakendy, said: “Sometimes I forget that HM is a mother as well, to see even King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward (pls he’s crying) mourning over their mother’s death breaks my heart”.

@LeftyNoMore said: “Those with eagle eyes might have seen #PrinceAndrew trying to stop himself crying right at the beginning of the march. It’s sad no matter what you think of him. #queensfuneral”
Others were just left confused, trying to understand the reaction of the Prince and whether it infringed on royal protocol.
@Theodorah_M asked: “Are they allowed to cry…? Andrew is fighting tears”.
