Bellator bombshell Valerie Loureda wows as Lola Bunny in WWE Halloween Battle Royal

It’s the spookiest night of the year – well the second for WWE, as their Halloween Havoc pay-per-view has already come and gone.

But that didn’t stop the women of WWE’s developmental brand NXT from dressing up for a battle royal, with a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship on the line. And one standout name competing was former Bellator bombshell Valerie Loureda.

Loureda wowed fans – on her in-ring debut – with a skimpy Lola Bunny costume from the hit film Space Jam. The ex-MMA star donned the revealing two-piece outfit complete with bunny ears with knee high white socks.

“I have now become the first Cuban-American woman and I am now a WWE superstar.” an emotional Loureda told host Ariel Helwani in June.

“I’m really excited, and I’ve dedicated my whole life to martial arts, and everything has come to this moment. And this is my opportunity to showcase my culture and entertain the world. I’m emotional because I’ve worked really hard in my whole life.

“I’ve had a very hard upbringing, and every day, I’ve always just believed in myself, and trained hard hoping to make it to the next step and just chasing a dream that I’ve had in my heart since I was a baby.”

The NXT brand is currently on tour in Melbourne, Australia, and the women’s brand all donned costumes for the battle royal.

Some women, such as Zoey Stark and Jacy Jane, elected to dress up as WWE legends Triple H and The Undertaker, while others opted for pop culture references. The winner, Thea Hail, wore an Andre Chase – a current NXT Superstar – costume.

The following night it was the turn of the men, with the winner also receiving a championship shot.
