Sexpert shares tips for spicy Valentine’s Day – alone or with a partner

A sexpert said there are simple things singletons can do if they want to spice up their Valentine’s Day solo or with a partner.

The day of love is just around the corner, but not everyone has a special someone to spend the occasion with.

But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on ramping up your sex life – as you can also indulge in other more than pleasurable activities.

Hook-up app Tapdat’s Creative Director Alice Leach revealed her top tips to spice up your sex life this Valentine’s Day, and they ensure pleasure is the main priority.

Alice, from TapDat, said: “With news, social media and shops overflowing with romance, sex, and pleasure, the Valentine’s hype can have a wonderful effect on everyone’s libidos.

“With so much socially acceptable focus on pleasure and connection, you may find that your own thoughts about pleasure increase.

“Wrap up an exciting new sex toy, introduce a new role play or kink idea in a card or love note, send each other links to erotica or buy yourself something spicy to wear to bed.”

The most romantic day of the year is fast approaching

Alice recommended a number of suggestions that should work to get your saucy juices flowing.

And, with a few weeks until the big day, there’s still time to get someone involved in your plans.

Sexual confidence

Alice said you should use this time to boost your confidence in the bedroom.

From discovering what you like to trying something new.

Add a little extra swagger to your sensual side.

Alice said learning more about what pleasures you is key

Learn about pleasure

Alice said: “Still not sure where the clitirous is?

“A little uneasy about what to do with the testicles?

“Not 100% confident in your spanking abilities?

“The more you know, the better things get.

“Take time to learn about your body, your partner’s body and anatomy, and the general pleasure principles.”

Have more sex

Alice admits life can get busy and stressful, which could cause some people to put their sex lives on the back-burner.

But this year she said you need to ensure you put nookie on the agenda.

“Increasing masturbation or partnered pleasure is the gift we all need,” she added.

“Kickstarting your sexual routine increases the likelihood of more sex going forward, what’s not to love about that?”
