Brit mortified after they accidentally move house with neighbour’s cat
A Brit was left mortified after they realised they moved house with their neighbour’s cat.
Having packed up their belongings into cardboard boxes for the big move, it appeared that one local ‘resident’ wanted to come along for the ride.
As the Brit opened the removal van doors once they reached their new abode, they were in for quite the big shock.

Perched on top of some grey furniture sat a black and white cat glaring at the stunned Brit.
They took to Reddit to share a picture of the furry stowaway.
“Not what you want to see in the van after moving home,” they admitted in the post on the Casual UK subreddit.
And it looks like Postman Pat is going to have to send him back…
The Brit moved 30 minutes away and asked their new batch of neighbours if they recognised the four legged pet just in case it lives in their new street.
“We think (hope) he might have jumped in when we opened the house doors!” they expressed.
“He jumped out and looks like he knows where he is.
“Asking locals…”

Left in stitches at the mishap, many people fled to the comments to offer the new homeowner some advice, while they also saw the funny side of the situation.
One user urged: “Take it to a vet and ask them to check for a chip.
“If there is one it should have ownership details on it.”
Another user giggled: “Reminds me of the Come Outside episode where Pippin hides in the removal van.”
Someone else chuckled: “Oops!
“I love the fact that cats as animals generally don’t give a f*** and will just do as they please.
“Hopefully he is local and just checking you and your furniture out to make sure it’s all up it his standards for the neighbourhood.
“Hope you locate his owner.”
