Nick Kyrgios claims pyramids are not man made and reckons earth could be flat

Tennis maverick Nick Kyrgios claimed the Egyptian pyramids are man-made and suggested the Earth could be flat in an explosive interview with YouTube star Logan Paul.

Wimbledon finalist Kyrgios – still out with the knee injury that saw him withdraw from the Australian Open – is one of the most divisive figures in tennis.

The box-office 27-year-old has been at the centre of a host of controversies over the years, including on-court tantrums and parties the night before major matches.

And Kyrgios has got people talking again – this time addressing his wildest conspiracy theories in conversation with internet sensation Paul.

A fascinated Kyrgios said he could “chat for hours” on the topic of conspiracy theories as the conversation moved away from tennis on the Impaulsive podcast.

Asked if he thought the world was flat, Kyrgios smiled and said: “I don’t know what to believe anymore.” The duo then engaged in discussion about the Egyptian pyramids – claiming the ancient structures were not the work of humans.

“I don’t think the pyramids are man-made,” the Aussie asserted. “The doors are pretty big, and we as humans don’t need doors as big as those ones.”

Kyrgios opened up on several popular conspiracy theories

An intrigued Paul added: “How do they line up in perfect symmetry all around the Earth?” The duo were joined by Paul’s co-hosts Mike Majlak and George Janko, with the popular moon-landing conspiracy also on the agenda.

The conspiracy that mankind has never landed on the moon was floated and Kyrgios said: “America weren’t apparently even close to having anything successfully going up there, right?”

As well as debating conspiracy theories, Kyrgios also candidly opened up on his career goals within tennis. He insisted his experiences in reaching the Wimbledon final last year have made he believe he can secure an elusive first Grand Slam.

“I think I can win a grand slam,” Kyrgios said. “Wimbledon I was right there. I was two sets away. I won the first set and I thought ‘this is it’. And then I just didn’t stay in the moment and he stayed super composed but I feel like I could do that.”
