Fears Putin is plotting to homicide in UK once more as despot in comparison with Hitler
Vladimir Putin may kill once more on UK streets like he did along with his Salisbury Novichok assault, in line with Defence Secretary Grant Shapps.
In the wake of the jail loss of life of Putin’s predominant political opponent Alexei Navalny, the defence chief stated the Russian President has the 47-year-old’s “blood on his hands”.
And Shapps stated we may see one other Novichok-style homicide try on our shores, as he likened the menace to that of Adolf Hitler‘s Nazi Germany.

Mr Shapps informed The Sun: “Look what occurred in Salisbury. We’ve seen what Putin is able to.
“His behaviour makes him a pariah. He thinks the more he does it the stronger he gets.
“But in the eyes of the world it makes him more desperate and weaker.”
Shapps added that UK intelligence providers “are always tracking and trying to prevent those things”. “But do I believe he has intent? You have seen that. So, sure,” he said.
Sergei Skripal, a former Russian double agent, and his daughter, Yulia, were poisoned after a Novichok attack in Salisbury, Wiltshire, in 2018.
They eventually recovered from their attempted assassination, Yulia being discharged on April 9, 2018 and Sergei on May 18 that year.
Dawn Sturgess, 44, and Charlie Rowley, then 45, each fell sick on June 30 after discovering a discarded fragrance bottle containing Novichok in Salisbury. Mr Rowley recovered however Miss Sturgess died in July 2018.
It comes because the spouse of Alexei Navalny, Yulia Navalnaya, launched a video insisting Novichok had been used on her jailed husband. She stated: “My husband could not be broken. And that’s exactly why Putin killed him.”
Charlie Rowley informed the Mirror that the episode plunged him right into a bout of PTSD.
Charlie, now 50, stated: “I’ll never meet Yulia, but I feel linked to her. We know how Putin wrecks lives. He has destroyed ours. She was very brave to speak out. But I want to warn her to watch her back. Be very careful or she could be next.”
