Sweden becoming a member of NATO provides ‘mighty ring of metal’ round ‘Putin’s foul onslaught’
Sweden becoming a member of NATO – and breaking a long time of neutrality within the course of – has moved the world one step closing to placing a “might ring of steel” round Vladimir Putin’s “foul onslaught,” an professional has claimed.
Earlier as we speak is was introduced that Sweden had formally joined the NATO alliance, with United States President Joe Biden claiming it made the group “stronger than ever”.
And Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg hailed the transfer, and the truth that Sweden brings a “capable armed forces and a first-class defence industry” with it.

“The Swedish island of Gotland will give NATO control of the gateway to the eastern Baltic. Sweden’s specially designed submarines will hammer Russia’s if Putin tries to slip past the treacherously tricky Baltic waters surrounding Sweden.”
And, he went on: “Yes, the Russians have been allowed to hold on the enclave of Kaliningrad and it’s a menace to NATO from Russian hypersonic Iksander missiles. But it can’t be defended besides by the suicidal use of nuclear weapons by Putin.

“Sweden’s ‘long goodbye to neutrality’, its accession to NATO, could put the kybosh on Putin’s crazy dream of encircling the whole of Europe. It has some catching up to do with personnel and weapons. But this will be good for all of us, especially European defence industries.”
Putin’s invasion of Ukraine began two years in the past, and exhibits no indicators of stopping regardless of big losses and Ukraine’s constant spectacular fightback.
