Man attempting to find Britain’s most ‘dismal’ dinner horrified by ‘all day breakfast’

A man attempting to find the UK’s most “dismal” meal was left stunned by an “all day breakfast” in a tin.

The Hunger Breaks tin has puzzled content creators and the public for a while – one YouTube review of the product simply asks “why?”. Now, TikTok reviewer DismalDinners has decided to try it for himself.

The peculiar can boasts sausage, beans, as well an “egg nugget”, and led DismalDinners to claim it felt like God had “abandoned us”. His quest for exposing grim dinners has previously seen him chow through Fray Bentos pies to microwaved Sunday roasts.

In his latest food review, DismalDinners said: “For a nation renowned for having some of the dullest dishes known to man, we sure do make a proper breakfast… When I heard that someone had miraculously stuffed one inside a can for our convenience, well I was quite excited.”

His excitement soon faded away as the canned breakfast plopped into the bowl. The sound of it being prepared and then the aftermath of him “rummaging through the wreckage” left DismalDinners bemused by the “genetic horror” before him.

The canned all day breakfast sadly only scored a disappointing 4/10. DismalDinners received mixed reactions from his followers. While some shared his disgust, others praised the Hunger Breaks can for being a convenient and affordable meal option.

One user wrote: “Mate the all day breakfast is elite! Used to live off them at my dads sad divorce flat.” Another claimed the food was “great as a camping meal”.

University students admitted it was a “guilty pleasure” meal, while others praised the tinned breakfast as a hangover cure saved for “emergencies”. Another user said: “These have saved me many times at festivals.”

The all day breakfast tin contains baked beans in tomato sauce, button mushrooms, chopped pork, a bacon burger and an “egg nugget”. DismalDinners likened the egg nugget to a “polyp of pity” in his scathing review.
