Meet Kelsey Plum – WNBA’s newest star who cannot cease going viral on social media

From risking it all outfits to teaming up with Kim Kardashian – the WNBA’s latest superstar Kelsey Plum is taking over.

The Las Vegas Aces’ WNBA title-winning star can’t stop going viral on social media after she previously risked an Instagram ban when she posted a photo of the braless outfit she wore to the Michelob ULTRA Arena earlier this month.

Plum, 29, wore baggy leather trousers and paired them with just a matching cropped vest, opting to go braless and flaunted her toned abs, as well as trusting there would be no gusts of wind in the venue.

She was also one of the Women’s National Basketball Association aces alongside others such as Candace Parker and Cameron Brink to strip down to their underwear to partner up with Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS. The company was named the ‘official underwear partner’ of the WBNA and celebrated the collaboration with a photo shoot.

All the athletes donned strapless bras and matching undies in various colours and styles. Now at 1million followers, Plum posted a collection of sultry snaps of her modelling the underwear on her Instagram page, sending her fans into a frenzy.

Plum’s offseason has been hit by heartbreak though after a divorce petition was filed by her and NBA star Darren Waller just over a year after they wed in March 2023. “The offseason has been tough for me. I mean, I’m sure everyone knows – it’s pretty public,” she said.

“But, for me, I’m super grateful. I think my faith has grown tremendously and, not just that, but I know who I am. You kind of get refined by fire. I’m excited about this season. I’m excited about Las Vegas – trying to run it back again – and I know that our fans are with us. I know this organisation is with us. I know that our team is as tight as it’s ever been.”
