Russia plots to disable Britain’s nuclear deterrent ‘in one day’ if WW3 begins

Russia has warned it will disable Britain’s nuclear deterrent in just “one day” if World War 3 begins, a Moscow military expert has claimed.

Putin’s regime is overseeing the development of £330,000 mobile nuclear shelters for major cities as the nation gears up for an apocalyptic war.

It comes after Putin pal Dmitry Medvedev, a former Russian president and prime minister, insisted the dictator is not bluffing in his nuclear threats.

Military expert Dr Yuri Baranchik warned Russia will carry out “Operation Unthinkable within one day” in the event of nuclear war.

H‌e added: “We eliminate the nuclear potentials of Britain and France. This a) deprives Europe of its military-geopolitical status, which it has today and b) we reduce the number of nuclear powers [in the world] from nine to seven.

“Few people imagine what a revolution the reduction of the nuclear club from 9 to 7 countries will make in the world.”

D‌r Baranchik reckons stifling Britain’s nuclear deterrent will be “simple”.

He said: “If we turn to the details, we will see that depriving Britain of nuclear weapons is quite simple,” he pontificated.

“Its entire nuclear potential, since 1998, has been a group of four Vanguard-class SSBNs [nuclear power submarines carrying atomic missiles] based in Faslane, Scotland.

‌”One or two underwater boats are on alert….between Greenland, Iceland and Britain, and one or two are in port for repairs and replenishment.”

H‌is rant continued: “Instead of a protracted war of attrition, in one day we deprive France and Britain of their nuclear weapons and destroy the whole of Europe.

“We deprive them of their status as nuclear powers and radically change the entire security system in Europe.

‌“After the successful implementation of Operation Unthinkable, we immediately issue an ultimatum to the United States, NATO and the European Union to cease within 24 hours military and financial support for Kyiv and the implementation of Russian proposals for the European security system.

‌”Otherwise, after 24 hours, we will use tactical nuclear weapons against any objects in Europe. And no one answers us.

‌”In response there will be silence. Then we issue an ultimatum again. Only tougher.”

‌He concluded: “The dilemma can be solved simply – we destroy the nuclear potential of Britain and France and give the European Union an ultimatum, since the United States will not agree to exchange strategic nuclear weapons strikes with Russia.”
