WWE Hall of Famer dies as tributes pour in after heartbreaking announcement
WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i has died, his son has announced.
Anoa’i, 81, competed as one half of the legendary Wild Samoans who remain one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history.
Today his son, Samu Anoa’i took to Facebook to share the heartbreaking news, he said: “It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of my father Afa Anoai Sr. It was a peaceful transition and he was surrounded by loved ones. Please respect our privacy as we morn our father.”
Responses to the news flooded in.
“God bless you and your great family,” one fan wrote.
Another replied: “We love you all. Know your father loved you all more than anything else as well.”
