Well-known spoon bender Uri Geller has offered Donald Trump the use of his island as a US military base after the President-elect’s calls to take over Greenland
Celebrity spoon bender Uri Geller has once again spoken out and offered his island as a US military base for Donald Trump.
In a “serious offer” to the President-elect, Uri pitched his plan to back Trump’s Greenland takeover, urging the islanders to take him seriously. He pleaded with the people of the island to stop “the Russians and Chinese breathing down your necks and controlling you”.
Earlier this month, President-elect Donald Trump expressed his desire to make Greenland part of the United States, calling ownership of the Arctic island an “absolute necessity” and promising to “make Greenland great again”. Trump made his intentions known on his Truth Social platform, and even sent a delegation to the island which included his son, Donald Trump Jr.
Uri assured his “friends” that Trump is not crazy for wanting to capture Greenland and has offered his help to solve the “crisis.”
He announced: “I am offering Donald Trump the right to use my island as a US military base. I legally also own more than seven miles of the waters around my island and the seabed too! And believe it or not also the airspace!”
Uri bought Lamb island, sometimes called The Lamb, back in 2009 for £30,000. The island is off the east coast of Scotland between Fidra and Craigleith. He said he believes the island is a hiding place for ancient Egyptian treasure and has sought to declare the island as Republic of Lamb, his own micronation.
He added: “Trump can send the #USNavy there – destroyers, aircraft carriers and submarines! There is plenty of space to accommodate them, and it is less than 2,000 miles from Greenland.
“Donald, this is a serious offer! An F-16 could get from my island to Greenland in just less than an hour.”
The magician gave reason for his bizarre intervention and said: “All the technology you own is powered by rare earth minerals.
“Now, China already controls most of these minerals, and there are many more deposits in the Arctic Region, especially in Greenland! If China gets its hands on them then it will have complete dominance.”
By the Artic Region, he said he is talking about Greenland, Norway, Sweden and even Canada.
He warned: “CHINA has already declared itself an Arctic state. That is a FACT. So now Donald Trump’s plan does not seem so crazy after all. The Arctic threat from Russia and China affects ALL OF US, and he wants to stop it.”
He ended his message by saying that he has sent his offer to his contact at Mara Lago.
