Jaw-dropping tennis-influencer-turned-coach Rachel Stuhlmann was handed a last minute job at the Australian Open, the first tennis major of the season
Jaw-dropping tennis coach Rachel Stuhlmann took her brains and beauty to the Australian Open.
It’s high-summer down under and the first major of the season is in full swing. And the brunette bombshell was handed a last-minute chance to jet off into some sun as a coach for the tournament.
Taking to social media, Rachel announced she had been asked to be Varvara Lepchenko’s coach for the tournament. She posted a snap of her official pass on Instagram, with the message: “I came to the Australian Open with my own plans.
“Just a few work commitments around the tournament but mostly to enjoy the AO experience for the first time.
“Earlier today I got a call from a good friend of mine asking if I could step in as their last-minute coach for this year’s event.
“I’m beyond excited for the chance to get on the AO courts and support her in any way I can. You never really know what opportunities will come your way at these events, and this one is definitely a fun one for me.
“I’m all in. Here’s to making in the main – let’s go, @varyka1.”
However, her coaching stint didn’t last too long as veteran Lepchenko, 38, was dumped out of the tournament on Thursday. Lepchenko had come through two qualification rounds before crashing out to Anca Todoni.
However, in theory, she can stick around in Melbourne and try to earn a spot as a lucky loser if there are late withdrawals.
Rachel, on the other hand, has a made a name for herself on social media – with the stunner boasting more than 306,000 followers making content on tennis and pickeball.
According to her Instagram bio, Rachel will stay in Melbourne until Wednesday (January 15).
