Huge replace after feminine English instructor Ella Clements was accused of getting an inappropriate relationship together with her 15-year-old male pupil

A Sydney private school teacher accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old student will be released from custody after being granted bail.

St Augustine’s Brookvale teacher Ella Clements, 24, was granted bail by Magistrate Daniel Reiss at Manly Local Court on Wednesday.

Police decided not to press for a detention application, meaning the Queenscliff woman will be released from custody ahead of future court appearances.

Clements was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of sexually touching a child over a number of alleged incidents earlier this year.

The 24-year-old will be required to live with her parents on the state’s north coast and to report to police once a week unless she is admitted to an unnamed facility as an inpatient, the Daily Telegraph reported.

She will have to surrender her passport, not go within 500metres of any international departure points, stay away from the school and not be in contact with any staff or students.

An apprehended violence order was also imposed to protect the complainant.

She will next face court on November 27.
