BREAKING Residents evacuated as main incident closes roads close to UK police station

Roads have been closed and dozens of residents evacuated after a suspicious device was found near a police station. A cordon is currently in place near Boston Police Station in Lincolnshire.

A force spokesperson said: “A suspicious device has been found near Boston Police Station and a 100m cordon is currently in place.

“We received the report at 11.33am via the Force Control Room. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit have been contacted and they are assessing the device.

“Please avoid the area. We will provide updates as and when we have them.”
