Lesbian banned by iconic gymnasium after standing as much as trans girl ‘who stared at her and swore whereas she was bare in locker room’

A lesbian woman has shared her outrage on social media after a trans woman allegedly followed her into the locker room of a Los Angeles gym and called her ‘a b***h in a deep angry voice.’

Tish Hyman was banned from EoS Fitness before posting a video to X about the encounter in the women’s locker room on Sunday.

In it, Hyman can be heard shouting at the trans person and saying: ‘Stay out of the women’s locker room. We don’t want it!’ as onlookers watched in shock.

On Instagram, she posted the same video with a lengthy caption that said: ‘Multiple women and I have repeatedly made written reports on this man for coming into our women’s locker room harassing us, and the gym staff has done absolutely nothing!!’

She went on to say that the trans woman, who was dressed in a black long-sleeve shirt, dark leggings and earrings, ‘disrespected’ her on multiple occasions.

She described the trans woman coming into the locker room behind her and calling her a b***h, which she said ‘terrified’ her before she ‘ran out into the gym screaming there is a man in the rest room.’

Hyman said the trans person was removed, but the gym staff then ‘turned around and terminated my membership too, as if I was being punished for speaking up.’

She added that other women at the gym agreed with her and were ‘relieved’ she said something.

Tish Hyman said it was not the first time she had a negative encounter with the trans person. She posted a video to TikTok on October 6 discussing an earlier incident

At the end of the video, the trans person can be seen walking away from the tense encounter and going back into the women’s locker room.

Hyman also called for a boycott of Gold’s Gym in the Instagram post. The location of the encounter used to be Gold’s Gym Beverly Center, but EoS Fitness just purchased almost all of the Gold’s Gym franchise locations in Southern California in late October.

Hyman’s post on X, which has received more than one million views since yesterday, seemed to be the latest development in an ongoing issue she has had with the gym and the trans member.

On October 6, Hyman posted a different video to her TikTok in which she complained that a trans person was in the locker room while she was in there naked.

In the video, she said: ‘Today I was naked in the locker room. I turn around, and there’s a man there in boy clothes, lip gloss, standing there looking at me. I’m butt naked.

‘So the first thing I think is, maybe there’s a worker in here, maybe I missed a sign. I say the word “sir” to say “sir, what are you doing in here.” He goes, “don’t f***ing talk to me. I’m a woman. I have a right to be in here.”

‘Immediately, I’m f***ing pissed because I’m butt naked. I feel violated.’

The encounter took place at an EoS Fitness location that used to be Gold's Gym Beverly Center. EoS Fitness recently purchased almost all of Gold's Gym's Southern California locations, and the signage where Hyman took the video has not yet been changed

Later in the video, Hyman said: ‘I’m a lesbian. I’ve been a lesbian my whole life. I treat people how I want to be treated regardless of whatever they [sic] sexual orientation is or whatever they decide. So I’m not transphobic…

‘Why do you think its ok for men to be in the women’s restroom? And when is the cut off point? Is it you cut off your penis and you can come in here? Why aren’t women making the laws?’

‘And if you really want to f***ing be safe and feel good, why don’t we just make trans restrooms? Because it ain’t right.’

Hyman’s post on X received more than 1,500 replies. The vast majority were supportive and agreed with her point of view and calls for boycott.

A few replies dismissed her complaints. One person told her to ‘cry harder,’ and another wrote: ‘Do you regularly harass women who don’t meet your superficial standards?’

Hyman and Gold’s Gym have been contacted for comment.
