‘Possible human stays’ present in bag at fashionable magnificence spot sparking police probe

A police investigation is underway after a bag believed to contain “possible remains” was discovered in West Dunbartonshire.
The unsettling find was made in the Arthurston Road area of Alexandria around 9.45am on Sunday, prompting an immediate response from officers.
Authorities have confirmed that the contents of the bag are currently being examined and investigations are ongoing.
This discovery follows the recent unearthing of Graham Wright’s remains at Rubha Dubh, on the banks of Loch Lomond, on 13 September.
However, police have stated that they do not believe there is any connection between Sunday’s find and the disappearance of the 38 year old, reports the Express.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland shared: “Around 9.45am on Sunday, November 2, 2025, police were made aware of a bag with possible remains found in the Arthurston Road area of Alexandria.
“The contents are being assessed and inquiries are ongoing.”
In relation to Mr Wright’s death, three individuals have since appeared in court. Linda Kelly, aged 47, and David McColl, 50, have both been charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
John Roarty, 54, has also been charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
