BT indicators take care of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite tv for pc agency to offer quick broadband to distant areas

BT has signed a deal with Elon Musk’s Starlink to provide fast broadband to remote areas as it fights to keep customers.

The pair will provide internet connections, particularly in areas which do not have a fibre connection because it is too complicated or expensive to build.

Starlink, owned by Tesla billionaire Musk’s SpaceX, has more than 650 satellites.

The service will be available to BT and EE broadband customers in the second half of 2026. Last week, O2 announced a similar mobile connections deal with Musk.

It comes as BT said 242,000 customers quit Openreach broadband for smaller rivals in the second quarter.
