‘World’s sexiest lady’ Paige Spiranac in tears over X-rated assaults from vile followers

Golf influencer Paige Spiranac was the victim of vile abuse from a follower on social media as the 32-year-old revealed messaged she received after appearing at the Internet Invitational

Golf influencer Paige Spiranac broke down in tears after revealing she’d received a sick X-rated message from online trolls after her appearance at the Internet Invitational.

The 32-year-old, who has been dubbed the ‘world’s sexiest woman’ by some of her fans, has admitted she’s struggling to deal with hateful messages she receives online.

Spiranac is one of the biggest stars in the sport on social media with an incredible four million followers on Instragram and regularly wows her fans with bikini snaps and glamorous pictures. She shared one of the vile messages she’d received as a direct message on Instagram, before responding in a video.

The message read: “I f***ing hate you. You stupid b**** think you’re so much better than everyone at the internet invitational. Go kill yourself you stupid c***.”

A tearful Spiranac hit back at the abuse and admitted she was struggling with the idea of being unlinked at the Internet Invitational golf event.

She said: “Thank you so much for all the really kind messages. It truly means a lot to me. I don’t normally do this but this hate, for some reason, has just been really hitting home for me.

“I’ve struggled socially my entire life. I’ve struggled in big groups of people, making friends, keeping friends, relating to other people, reading social cues, saying the right thing at the right time. It’s just been really hard for me my entire life.

“I know that might sound weird considering what I do but I’m just not effortlessly liked. It’s just hard for me in big groups of people.”

Spiranac added: “At the Internet Invitational, I was really excited because I felt like I could fit in in the industry and be there for my team and show up. I was really excited about it.

“So it’s just been really hard to see this reaction to being so unliked. I hate it. I know there are more important things in life than wanting to be liked but I do want to be liked and I want to fit in.

“I’ve tried for a lot of my life to find places where I can fit in and when I was at the Internet Invitational I felt really good.

“Now to watch it back and these deep insecurities from childhood or whatever are coming back and it’s confirmation that you’re actually not liked. You’re annoying, no one likes you and you suck and you’re terrible.

“It’s just hard because you feel good in that one moment and that maybe you’re going to be liked and fit in. And it’s like ‘just kidding. Everyone hates you’.”
