‘Explosion’ at fashionable UK magnificence spot sees two girls rushed to hospital in main incident

Two women have been rushed to hospital after an ‘explosion’ in a popular beautify spot.

Police are investigating and cordon is currently in place in Central Forest Park in Stoke-on-Trent following the incident

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a fire in Stoke-on-Trent. We were called by colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service to an area near Central Forest Park.

“Officers went to the scene following a report that an aerosol can had exploded inside a tent. Colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended. Two women were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life changing or life threatening at this time.”
