BREAKING Three automobiles spin out in F1 dash race chaos as Oscar Piastri dealt recent blow

Oscar Piastri has crashed out of the sprint race during the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend as three cars spun in quick succession.
The F1 title hopeful was dealt a fresh blow in the incident on lap seven of the shortened race, as the McLaren driver initially spun before he was quickly followed by the Sauber of German Nico Hulkenberg and Alpine’s Franco Colapinto.
The race was red flagged quickly after the triple crash, with current title leader Lando Norris heading up the race, ahead of the Mercedes cars of Kimi Antonelli in second and George Russell in third.
The tyre barriers were damaged as a result of the incidents, with the race put on hold for repairs to take place.
Speaking on BBC Radio Five Live in the aftermath of the accidents, F1 Academy champion Abbi Pulling said: “That’s really peculiar to see, for another two cars to make the same mistake as Oscar Piastri.
“I think they’ve all made the exact same mistake, they’ve put a wheel on that kerb on the exit of Turn Two.”
Norris came into the Brazil weekend leading his McLaren teammate Piastri by just a single point in the Drivers’ Championship and now has an opportunity to extend his lead further in the sprint race.
Qualifying for the main race will take place on Saturday evening before the main Grand Prix on Sunday.
