Meet Louis Rees-Zammit’s beautiful WAG who has followers screaming ‘perfection’

Louis Rees-Zammit’s return to rugby union will be celebrated by his family, including his glamorous girlfriend who he met in the United States while pursuing his NFL dream

Louis Rees-Zammit has been accompanied by his stunning girlfriend, Drew Knotts, following his sensational return to rugby union.

It was in July earlier this year when the 24-year-old announced his intention to leave the NFL in order to return to the sport where he established his name. Upon moving to the States in an attempt to cultivate a career in American football, the Welshman joined the International Player Pathway program.

While he was dating YouTuber and influencer Saffron Barker prior to his move across the pond, their romance ended soon ended after his departure back in 2024. It was in April 2025 when Rees-Zammit and Florida-based Knotts became Instagram-official, but it had emerged they’d been a couple for several months.

Knotts, 26, is a popular social media influencer with over 30,000 followers on Instagram, with the comments section on her posts routinely filled with compliments from fans. Among the adulation she’s received, one user wrote: “Drew is perfect.”

A second commented: “The most perfect girl on earth.” While a third said: “The queen herself shinning bright as always.” With Rees-Zammit having signed for the Bristol Bears, he revealed that his partner would be swapping Florida for Wales on a permanent basis.

“I took her to the Wales v Ireland game for the Six Nations,” said the winger when asked about Knotts. “She really enjoyed it.

“She doesn’t have a clue what rugby is! When she saw that kind of environment, she really wanted to watch me play rugby.

“It’s something I can give her now, I can allow her to learn rugby, she’ll learn a lot from my family, the rules and the crowd. She’s really looking forward to it. It’s going to be a big change for her.

“She’s moving permanently. Depending on VISAs and stuff, there’s a lot to do with getting over to America and vice versa.

“I experienced that first-hand. But she’s obviously doing the opposite to what I did. I went over there, lived there.

“But now she’s coming back and living in Wales. So, from Florida to Wales! Well, depending on visas and stuff, there’s a lot to do with getting over to America and vice versa.

“I experienced that first hand. But she’s obviously doing the opposite to what I did. I went over there, lived there, but now she’s coming back and living in Wales.

“(The weather’s the same) – that’s what I said to her, don’t worry about it!” Ahead of Wales’ Autumn Nations Series opener against Argentina on Sunday, Rees-Zammit was named among the replacements.

The winger hasn’t played for Wales since October 2023 and had been nursing a toe injury since last month. Wales assistant coach Danny Wilson addressed his fitness status.

Wilson said: “He progressed back last week and [has had] a full training week this week. There are a few boxes left to tick but he is moving in the right direction.”
