Nigel Farage speech LIVE: Reform UK chief to deal with nation after BBC row
Nigel Farage will give a press conference at 11am today where he will claim Reform UK is the party of small business.
The Reform UK leader is expected to launch a new group to advise the party on its small business policies, according to the Telegraph. He last week said the sector was “ignored” and claimed the Government “only listens to big business”. The MP made the comment at a speech, where he dropped his widely criticised £90billion tax cuts, as he scrambles to try to regain financial credibility.
Mr Farage’s speech – which will end with a Q&A with reporters – is likely to be overshadowed by a row at the BBC. Last night the broadcaster’s director-general Tim Davie quit following accusations that a BBC Panorama documentary misled viewers after editing a speech by Donald Trump. Mr Farage said this morning that it is the “final straw” on the BBC for the US President.

Mr Farage’s speech – which will end with a Q&A with reporters – is likely to be overshadowed by a row at the BBC.
Last night the broadcaster’s director-general Tim Davie quit following accusations that a BBC Panorama documentary misled viewers after editing a speech by US President Donald Trump.
This morning, Mr Farage said Mr Trump was “absolutely enraged” by the row. The Clacton MP – one of Mr Trump’s cheerleaders – said the US politician thought the allegations were the “final straw”. Mr Farage even compared the BBC to Russia’s “meddling in elections”.

The Reform UK leader is expected to launch a new group to advise the party on its small business policies and lobby for the sector, according to the Telegraph.
He last week said the sector was “ignored” and claimed the Government “only listens to big business”.
Some 300 small business owners are invited to the speech.
