Two blokes needed ‘military of homeless mercenaries’ to take over island and enslave girls
A pair of crazed Texans allegedly planned to invade a small Haitian island, leading an army of homeless people to kill all the men and turn the women and kids into ‘sex slaves’
Two Texan creeps have been indicted for a nutty scheme to take over an island in Haiti. Inspired by their twisted ‘rape fantasies’, they even studied the local language and learned to sail to carry out their loony plan, prosecutors claim.
Gavin Rivers Weisenburg, 21, and Tanner Christopher Thomas, 20, were charged for conspiracy to murder, maim or kidnap in a foreign country, federal prosecutors announced on Thursday, reports the New York Post.
The accused paedophiles “planned to purchase a sailboat, firearms, and ammunition, then recruit members of the [Washington, DC] homeless population to serve as a mercenary force as they invaded Gonave Island and staged a coup d’etat,” the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas.
The island has about 100,000 people but the two men aimed “to murder all of the men” so they could then “turn all of the women and children into their sex slaves”, the feds allege.
To achieve their evil scheme, the duo also undertook “numerous overt acts” to prepare for their invasion, including making “operational and logistical plans” and even learning Haitian Creole, according to the feds.
Weisenburg went to the North Texas Fire Academy to learn “command-and-control protocols” and flew to Thailand for sailing lessons, according to the indictment. Thomas enlisted in the US Air Force to gain military skills for the bloody takeover, the feds said.
He switched from Ramstein Air Base in Germany to Andrews Air Base in Maryland to be nearer potential homeless recruits in Washington DC.
Washington DC has an estimated homeless population of about 5,600, with about 800 unsheltered. The city has faced a federal push to clear encampments and move people from the streets. President Trump recently announced he was sending in the National Guard to “rescue our nation’s capital from crime”.
After the authorities checked their devices, both men were also charged with persuading a minor to make child pornography.
Weisenburg, of Allen, and Thomas, of Argyle, could spend their lives in federal prison if convicted of the conspiracy to murder, maim or kidnap in a foreign country charges. They each face up to 30 years, plus an extra 15 if convicted for child porn.
Gonave Island in Port-au-Prince Bay is the largest island off the island of Hispaniola. Despite its stunning beaches and views, its population has suffered amid overgrazing and over-use of water resources.
