College soccer quarterback’s brother will get arrested at recreation for ‘public intoxication’ after dispute over flag

While Diego Pavia was leading to Vanderbilt to victory on Saturday, his family were causing chaos in the stands – with his brother later arrested for ‘public intoxication’.

Commodores quarterback Pavia had a standout game during the 45-24 win over the Volunteers but, unfortunately for him, the day was marred by chaos in the stands.

Footage from inside the stadium showed Pavia’s family arguing with security and police officials, after reportedly being told not to hang over the front row. 

In one clip, Pavia’s brothers could be seen telling the officials: ‘The SEC has the same rules everywhere, it should be no different.

‘We’re about to take over this state, you’ll find out’. 

However, despite their brother leading Vanderbilt to victory, it appears their braggadocios claims backfired as Javier Pavia was later seen being arrested.

It marks the second time this year that the quarterback’s brother has been arrested at a game

The quarterback’s brother was pictured as he was escorted out of the stadium before then being detained outside of a Knox County Sheriff van. 

Other reports which later emerged claimed that Javier had ‘a flag blocking’ the view of fans sat around him. He reportedly ‘refused’ to take it down before being detained.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff for comment.
