Former US Air Force nuclear specialist has warned which UK places to avoid in the event of World War 3, after Russia issued a chilling warning that NATO strikes could lead to full-scale nuclear war

- A former US Air Force nuclear protection specialist, Gene Sticco, named several locations in the UK that people should avoid if World War 3 were to break out.
- The warning followed a statement from a Russian Major General suggesting that NATO strategies to hit Russia more aggressively could trigger a “full-scale nuclear war.”
- Sticco advised avoiding anywhere near US and NATO facilities, as well as key military centres like Telford, Plymouth, South Yorkshire, and the South East and South West of England.
- He pinpointed the naval centres of Plymouth and Barrow-in-Furness as the UK’s most likely enemy targets, due to them housing the largest naval base and the sole nuclear submarine building facility, respectively.
