Moment two males armed with large knives brawl on the street in entrance of shocked dad and mom on the college run

A man armed with a knife was seen brawling with another man with a machete in front of ‘scared’ parents on the school run nearby.

The incident took place in Enfield, north London, as parents walked their children to school and commuters went to work.

Shocking footage shows the man armed with a knife slashing the tyres of a silver car and then smashing the window with the weapon as it starts to reverse with its door open.

The man then repeatedly hit the car window with the knife before another man emerged with a large machete and repeatedly swung the blade.

A brawl then breaks out between several men who end up on the floor as parents can be seen taking their children to school on Monday morning.

One witness said: ‘It was horrific. All I could hear was shouting and screaming and the smashing of glass.

‘I went outside and it was all kicking off. This is broad daylight. It’s a school Monday morning.

‘London is a war zone. It’s so unsafe.’

A shop assistant, working nearby, said she feared the ‘possessed’ knifeman was ‘going to murder someone in cold blood’.

She said: ‘It was horrific. There was all this banging and shouting. Apparently they all knew each other and it is a feud that is ongoing.

‘There was so much banging. The guy with the knife was possessed. I thought he was going to murder someone in cold blood.

‘He was raging with anger. I thought he was going to kill the driver. He burst the tyre and then went for the car.

‘I could not believe the amount of people that watched. I’m a young woman so I stayed inside.

‘I have never been so scared in my life.’

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: ‘We are aware of a video circulating on social media which appears to show a group men fighting following criminal damage to a vehicle.

‘This is believed to have taken place in Hertford Road, Enfield on the morning of Monday, 8 December.

‘The Met did not receive any calls in relation to this incident and urge anyone with information to contact police via 101, quoting 2593/8DEC.’
