Sharon Osbourne says Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters ‘is a has been stomping round in his pathetic “Nazi” outfit’ as she addresses his scathing feedback on late husband Ozzy

Sharon Osbourne has hit back at Pink Floyd rock star Roger Waters after he made scathing comments about her husband Ozzy following his death.

The Black Sabbath legend died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22 aged 76, just three weeks after performing a farewell gig with his bandmates in his hometown.

Roger, 82, sparked fury from the Osbourne family when he admitted he wasn’t a fan of the rocker or any of his band’s material.

He said at the time: ‘Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life.’

He continued to The Independent Ink: ‘We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f***.’

Roger concluded: ‘I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.’

Now Sharon has addressed his comments in her first television interview since Ozzy’s death.

Speaking to Piers Morgan on Wednesday on his show Uncensored, she said: ‘You know, he was great, but his greatness didn’t last. He couldn’t do any great music on his own.

‘He’s a has been… Oh, my God, he’s definitely not wired right. Five wives later, and, you know, hates everybody that’s successful, and he’s stomping around in his pathetic, homemade Nazi outfit.

‘He’s just, he’s nuts. I was going to send him one of my Tiffany boxes, but I will save it… You know, it’s a waste because he’s really insignificant. But I just thought, with anybody that passes that has a family, you don’t do that.’

Daily Mail has contacted Roger’s representative for comment.

Roger allegedly sang that his agent was a ‘f***ing Jew’ in an improvised song, and appeared to dress as a Nazi at a Berlin gig in May last year.

The singer then released a statement denying that he harboured anti-semitic beliefs.

‘My recent performance in Berlin has attracted bad faith attacks from those who want to smear and silence me because they disagree with my political views and moral principles,’ he said.

‘The elements of my performance that have been questioned are quite clearly a statement in opposition to fascism, injustice, and bigotry in all its forms.

‘Attempts to portray those elements as something else are disingenuous and politically motivated.

‘The depiction of an unhinged fascist demagogue has been a feature of my shows since Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ in 1980.

‘I have spent my entire life speaking out against authoritarianism and oppression wherever I see it.

‘When I was a child after the war, the name of Anne Frank was often spoken in our house, she became a permanent reminder of what happens when fascism is left unchecked.

‘My parents fought the Nazis in World War II, with my father paying the ultimate price.

‘Regardless of the consequences of the attacks against me, I will continue to condemn injustice and all those who perpetrate it.’

German music rights firm BMG, which signed Waters in 2016, parted ways with the  rock star this following a series of controversies including a slew of inflammatory remarks he made about Israel

Meanwhile, Ozzy’s son Jack branded Roger a ‘c**t’ to his 1.3million followers on Instagram after the musician’s remarks about his father.

Writing on his stories, he said: ‘Hey @rogerwaters. F*** You. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become.

‘The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls*** in the press,’ he wrote to his followers.

‘My father always thought you were a c**t – thanks for proving him right. [clown emoji].’ In a second Instagram Story, Jack added the hashtag: ‘#f***rogerwaters’.
