Donald Trump sparks well being considerations after ‘rambling’ and ‘manic’ thriller announcement

A cardiac expert said watching Trump’s accelerated address “seriously concerned” him while social media users raised concerns about Trump’s cognitive decline as he rambled on for 20 minutes

Donald Trump’s rambling address has sparked fears over his health – with one cardiac expert warning he is “seriously concerned” about the US President.

The Orange Manbaby, 79, barely paused for breath as he launched a blistering attack on his ex-President Joe Biden during the much-hyped 20 minute speech from the White House.

But Dr Jonathan Reiner – a medical analyst for CNN who served as the late Vice President Dick Cheney’s cardiologist for over 30 years – posted a series of alarmed statements on X as Trump delivered his full speed address.

He said: “The pace of this address is manic.”

He added: “I’m seriously concerned about the health of the president. No one should be happy to see the president like this. He looks unwell.”

The president’s Oval Office address came as he faces tumbling approval ratings, rising tensions with Venezuela, pressure to release the Epstein files and concerns about his cognitive decline and physical health.

Wearing a blue suit, white shirt and red tie, Trump was accused of peddling lies about the state of the economy and his claim to have settled eight wars and brought peace to the Middle East “for the first time in 3,000 years”

But many Americans took to social media to voice their concerns. One wrote: “Trump has completely lost it.” A second asked: “WHERE is gas under $2 in the states. Trump spewing lies.”

A third said: “This Trump speech, with his frantic tone and shrieking, is yet another reminder that he is clearly demented and sick.

“He can’t pronounce words, like warrior. Sounded like woy-yeh. Another sign of cognitive problems. This is really frightening. One flew over cuckoo’s nest scene.”

Another said: “Trump just had a dementia tantrum on national television, oh my God!”

Trump’s health has often been in the spotlight this year, from his bruised hand to nodding off in Cabinet meetings.

Earlier this month, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that Trump’s second health check in a year included a “preventative MRI” to examine his heart and abdomen.

But Dr Reiner said at the time: “Well, there really is no preventative cardiac MRI. This is not a standard test for an 80-year-old man to undergo advanced imaging.

“This obviously was performed in response to some clinical concern, which is fine. Things happen to people as we all get older, and the president is almost 80. So, instead of this kind of evasive, almost laughable kind of note, just spell out what happened.”

Political analysist Ana Navarro said the speech was “18 minutes of their lives” people would never get back, adding: “It was an angry old man shouting from the hills, shouting at the kids to get off their lawn.”
