Sky’s £10-per-month Apple iPad deal is the lowest-ever value and arrives earlier than Christmas

Sky Mobile has slashed the price of the 2025 Apple iPad A16, making it an ideal last-minute Christmas gift

Apple fans are rushing to grab an iPad offer that’s the cheapest we’ve ever seen. The bargain is available at Sky Mobile, which has slashed the price of the 2025 11″ Apple iPad A16.

Launched in March as Apple’s basic tablet offering, it was previously priced at £10.50 per month on a payment plan. It’s now £10, and while it might not seem like a massive saving, it’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen for this model.

The deal applies to the iPad A16 128GB model, which comes with a £12 upfront cost and a choice of four colours: silver, blue, pink, and yellow. Other iPads up for grabs include the latest 11″ iPad Air for £15 and the 11″ iPad Pro for £26.50.

Sky is also throwing in free next-day delivery for orders placed by 9pm Monday to Friday or by 3pm Sunday, ensuring any last-minute gifts arrive by Christmas. One crucial detail about the iPad A16 deal is that the £10 price tag requires a commitment to a 48-month contract, with the chance to upgrade to a new gadget after 36 months.

The price also includes a 100MB data allowance for using the device on the go, which may be enough for those planning to use the iPad primarily on their home WiFi. For heavier users who want to use the device out and about, they might consider upgrading to a data package such as 1GB for £2 or 50GB for £10 for the first six months, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Sky’s iPad A16 deal

Sky is offering Apple’s iPad A16 for £10 when spreading the cost.

The iPad is powered by Apple’s ‘superfast’ A16 chip and boasts an 11″ Liquid Retina display, along with a 12MP wide back camera that can shoot 4K video. It’s also compatible with the Apple Pencil and a physical keyboard, though these are sold separately.

Elsewhere, Amazon has the iPad A16 WiFi only model on offer for £310 (down from £329), but bear in mind this won’t connect to the internet without WiFi. The same WiFi and cellular model included in the Sky Mobile deal would cost shoppers £439 if bought outright.

Bargain hunters looking for the most wallet-friendly tablets could consider refurbished options from Wowcher, such as the iPad 5th Generation for £79 or the iPad 9th Generation for £169. Just remember that these are older models and might not support some of the latest apps and software updates.

For those considering Sky’s iPad A16 deal, Amazon customers have given this model a 4.5-star rating after more than 2,600 reviews. One five-star review says: “This is the most affordable of the newer iPad models and it’s a really good option if you don’t need the Pro features.

“It’s fast, the screen is clear and it works perfectly with the Apple Pencil, which my daughter uses for drawing and school apps. A great choice for everyday use, learning and watching videos without spending extra on features you may not need.”

Another says: “Absolutely fabulous, functions well with the programs I need, very responsive and easy to use. Very sturdy for the size and not overly big, so it’s very portable and I can use it anywhere. Sound quality is good. All round useful bit of tech.”

A different buyer left a more mixed, three-star review, saying: “The sound is very poor and there is no headphone socket, so I have to go wireless. There is no charging plug either; it requires a USB-C plug. Apart from this, it functions well and the transfer was very quick and simple.”

While this glowing five-star review says: “This is a basic iPad, but what a performer. So much faster than my 2022 edition, excellent refresh rate, much better sound, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections and double the memory. Excellent value for money.”
