The US Department of Justice began unveiling the latest batch of Epstein files on Friday evening. Papers connected to the disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein went live on the department’s website under a section called “Epstein Library” at around 9pm on Friday evening.
It is not known when or where the pictures featuring Clinton were taken. Being mentioned or pictured does not imply wrongdoing and there is no suggestion that Mr Clinton was involved in or had knowledge of anything illegal
Mr Clinton forged social and charitable ties with Jeffrey Epstein following his departure from the White House, including numerous journeys aboard Epstein’s private aircraft, with flight records suggesting approximately 26-27 trips between 2002 and 2003.
Clinton’s representatives describe these as four excursions linked to Clinton Foundation business.
Clinton has repeatedly denied any awareness of Epstein’s illegal conduct, claiming he severed ties around 2005, never set foot on Epstein’s private island, and “knows nothing about the terrible crimes” Epstein perpetrated.
Released court papers and recent document drops reference Clinton regularly as an acquaintance but feature no accusations or proof of wrongdoing, reports the Express.
Visitors trying to view the files found themselves placed in a waiting system to reach the website and some encountered an error notification stating “your queue number has been rejected” alongside an option to “get a new place in line”.
A privacy notice on the Epstein Library stated: “In view of the Congressional deadline, all reasonable efforts have been made to review and redact personal information pertaining to victims, other private individuals, and protect sensitive materials from disclosure.
