Antiques supplier feared lifeless in Christmas Day swim tragedy after man ‘tried to avoid wasting him’

An antiques dealer has been named locally as one of the two missing swimmers now feared dead.

Matthew Upham, a 63, was swimming off Budleigh Salterton’s coast during the traditional Christmas Day swim, according to the Daily Mail.
