BREAKING World Darts Championship last interrupted as Ally Pally wasp makes triumphant return

Luke Littler was forced to flee from the oche as the Ally Pally wasp made it’s triumphant return during the World Darts Championship final.
The surprise star of the tournament has seemingly been in hibernation after Christmas. However, with Littler 3-1 up on sets, it decided to try and give Gian van Veen a hand when it buzzed its way towards the defending champion, who ducked and weaved away from it.
The winged menace had Littler running, while Van Veen watched on, and the crowd burst into a chorus of “Ally Pally wasp”. However, it did little to disrupt Littler’s rhythm, and he went onto take the leg to move 4-1 into the lead.
“The wasp! We know who the real champion is,” Wayne Mardle said on Sky Sports.
The wasp has been wreaking havoc at the event, giving Ross Smith the kiss of death, chasing Nathan Aspinall from the oche and landing on David Munyua’s eye.
