Disgruntled ‘ghost’ caught pestering beer-drinker at famously haunted Fifteenth-century pub

CCTV footage taken at a famously haunted 15th-century pub appears to show a pint mysteriously pushed off a table by a “ghost”, leaving locals spooked and sparking a new paranormal probe

Casper might not be so friendly after all… A drinker suffered an ale-ment in what has reported to be a haunted pub after a an apparent “ghost” pushed his beer off a table.

CCTV reportedly showed the unattended pint being placed down by the customer who then walked away. The 27-second clip then showed the full glass slowly moving towards the edge and toppling off.

However, as per the eerie footage, nobody was near at the time. The scary incident happened at The Lattice House Bar, King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

The building dates back to the 1400s and is said to have several ghosts.

Landlord Perry Sturge only took over six months ago but said locals weren’t surprised by the latest goings on. “We have had quite a few stories from regulars regarding things that have happened here,” he told, What’s The Jam.

He continued: “The building is very old and is said to be haunted. There is an investigation with a local paranormal group taking place here at the end of January.”

The Lattice House is described as a historically significant building. A parish clerk called Lewis Salter was discovered strangled there in 1648.

His death was unexplained. Locals have spoken of a heavy presence in the building, of unexplained movements, flickering candle flames and the feeling of being watched when alone. In 1988 an exorcism was conducted there by a local vicar.

It was after a customer described feeling hands on her shoulders and back, leaving bruises that she could not explain. Other women also reported similar sensations.

In other recent spooky news, a policeman was stunned after looking back over pictures of a fatal crash, due to spotting a paranormal presence. John Boulware, 16, tragically died in a car accident near St Paul, Minnesota, USA, on December 27, 1984, while traveling with friends to see Prince perform in Minneapolis.

He was seated in the front passenger seat when their vehicle, driven by a friend, lost control in poor weather and crashed into a tree, the Daily Star previously reported. John was killed instantly, while the other three teens survived with only minor injuries.

Officer Brown Coyle, who investigated the crash, later discovered something eerie in his photos of the scene: a yellowish burst of light in one image appeared to form a face resembling John, seemingly in agony. The photo sparked debate, with some believing it captured John’s spirit at the moment of death.
