Dejected Jalen Hurts’ three-word message to Eagles coach Nick Sirianni caught on digital camera after playoff exit
Despite losing a heartbreaker at home in the NFC Wild Card, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts hasn’t had his confidence dinged.
Hurts and the Eagles struggled on offense and ultimately fell 23-19 to the San Francisco 49ers.
The whole affair was captured on HBO‘s ‘Hard Knocks’ – who caught some words that Hurts shared with his head coach, Nick Sirianni.
‘We’ll be back,’ Hurts told his coach.
Sirianni shared the belief that his quarterback had: ‘I have no doubt.’
Nearly immediately after the attempt to repeat Super Bowl titles fell apart, the Eagles made moves to improve their future.

Earlier this week, the Eagles fired oft-criticized offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.
Additionally, the questions about what personnel will remain on the offense is at the center of the Eagles’ future.
Of all players, AJ Brown’s future is the most up-in-the-air after his poor performance led to anger on the sidelines.
Brown was seen getting into a spat with Sirianni while he only caught three of seven targets.

Philadelphia’s offense took a massive step back this season – falling from seventh in scoring offense in their Super Bowl winning campaign last year to 19th this year.
Moreover, Hurts had the least rushing yards and least touchdowns he’s had since taking over as a full-time starter.
‘It was a challenging year,’ Hurts said on Monday. ‘Knew it wouldn’t be easy, I knew it was going to be hard and it was something I definitely embraced.
‘As the year went on, it just wasn’t enough. … We didn’t do enough. Obviously, going back to the drawing board.’
