‘World’s bustiest mannequin’ tragically dies aged 27 — simply days after asserting retirement

Aoi Fujino had been one as one of the world’s most revered creators with a big bust, but just days after revealing she would be leaving the public eye, she is no longer with us

A model, believed to be one of the world’s most “busty” babes, has died at the age of 27. It comes just days after she had revealed she was stepping out of the limelight.

Aoi Fujino had delighted fans for years with her figure and her huge boobs that had supporters hot under the collar. But on December 31, the star said that she would be hanging up her modelling boots and moving away from being in the public eye.

Now, just five days after she made her shocking announcement, her parents posted that she had passed away. Her death has caused shockwaves amongst the community, leaving her loyal followers devastated at the news as they offered their condolences.

According to What’s the Jam, Aoi Fujino told her fans as the New Year rang in that she was leaving the world of modelling behind her. “This is my last message to all Aoi Fujino fans,” she penned in an emotional goodbye.

“I really loved you. Thank you so much for everything up until now,” she added. “Please remember me once in a while. Lol.”

Just five days later, fans — who had already been processing the sudden decision to leave the public eye behind, were stunned when they got a second update. This time, however, it was from Aoi’s mother who had confirmed she had in fact died.

“Aoi Fujino had been fighting an illness, but passed away on 5 January,” she wrote, to the shock of Aoi’s fans. “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who took care of her during her lifetime.”

Aoi, who was based in the Ishikawa Prefecture of Japan, was later revealed to have been suffering from a rare tumour that had turned malignant. The condition, called rhabdomyosarcoma, was first spotted three years ago, but soon grew to the point that it could not be operated on.

After receiving the diagnosis, Aoi — who had been a gravure idol within Japan — stopped all work in order to focus on her health. She had been treated for years, and had even made a comeback to the world of modelling in August in 2024, much to the delight of her waiting fans.

But after just six months of work, she had to stop her career once again as a result of her worsening health. Throughout her final year, Aoi did not go away, however, managing to muster the energy to attend several photoshoots and meet-and-greets with fans.

She also had racked up and impressive following on social media, earning a total of 70,000 followers on Instagram prior to her tragic death. Her boobs had also even been recognised by the mainstream media in Japan, with local outlets opting to put Aoi on their list of the top 100 big-breasted actresses of 2022.

Chillingly, before her sad death, Aoi had spoken about the way she wants her legacy to be known by fans. Speaking about it with her Instagram following, she said that she is someone who has always been known to be bubbly and positive, a move she wants enshrining.
