Andrew Mountbatten’s relationship with daughter ‘at Brooklyn Beckham degree’ as ‘every little thing modified’

Reports have emerged that Princess Eugenie has reportedly cut off contact with her father Prince Andrew after spending Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family rather than her parents in Windsor

Fresh claims have surfaced suggesting Andrew and Fergie’s younger daughter Princess Eugenie has “severed all ties” with her father amid ongoing revelations about the former’s links to Jeffrey Epstein.

An insider disclosed that following her decision to spend the festive season with the Royal Family instead of her parents at Windsor, Eugenie allegedly refuses all communication with her father, with the source stating: “There is no contact at all, nothing. It’s Brooklyn Beckham level – she has completely cut him off.”

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond suggests the previously tight-knit family unit is now fractured, as Andrew and Fergie’s ties to the convicted paedophile continue to strain family bonds. The former prince has consistently denied any allegations against him.

Speaking to the Mirror, Jennie explained: “Through thick and thin, through lurid headlines, sickening allegations and embarrassing revelations, the York family – as they were – have stuck together. Andrew and Fergie were the “bestest friends” and their girls were staunchly loyal to them. But now, it seems, everything has changed.

“The happiest divorced couple in the world are apparently going their separate ways – and at least one of their daughters is questioning whether she can maintain a relationship with her disgraced father.”

Jennie suggests that Beatrice and Eugenie’s decision to spend Christmas with the Royal family at Sandringham, while Andrew and Fergie celebrated alone in Windsor, revealed their true loyalties, reports the Mirror.

“Only they know what is truly going on, but let’s look at the evidence,” she proposed. “It’s extremely telling that both Eugenie and Beatrice chose to spend Christmas with the rest of the royal family at Sandringham rather than support their parents in their isolation. That must have been very hurtful for Andrew and Sarah: their daughters were showing the world exactly where their loyalties lie.”

Regarding Eugenie allegedly severing ties with her father, Jennie points out that the princess’s career and charity work may have influenced her moral compass, particularly given the serious allegations against her disgraced father.

Jennie elaborated: “For Eugenie, things are even more complicated because she is such an ardent campaigner against slavery. And yet her father has been involved with a man who trafficked sex slaves – and Andrew has not apologised to those women. I imagine she feels her own integrity is at stake.”

“You have to feel for both Beatrice and Eugenie in all this,” Jennie expressed. “They have both been so fiercely defensive of their mother – especially during her cancer treatment. But both women now have their own families and busy lives away from Andrew and Sarah. And perhaps that is where they feel somewhat shielded from the relentless torrent of damaging headlines.”

As Andrew prepares to relocate from Windsor to the Sandringham estate imminently, Jennie suspects his Royal exile is virtually complete.

She commented: “For Andrew, an estrangement from either of his daughters will be a bitter blow. His family was pretty much all he had left after all that has happened. Now he’s looking more isolated than ever. Family rifts are incredibly complex and hurtful, but sometimes time can heal them. For now, though, it seems that Eugenie is set on keeping her distance from her father and living her own life.”
