A reality TV star – renowned for swinging – has been hit with countless charges after he has been accused of drugging and raping a six-year-old girl and having sex with two of his pets
A swinging former reality TV star has been accused of drugging and raping a six-year-old girl and having sex with two dogs.
Tony McCollister, 43, starred in the 2015 show Neighbours with Benefits show, about a suburban neighbourhood which believed swinging strengthened their community. The 43-year-old is now facing dozens of charges including four counts of rape, five counts of gross sexual exploitation, and another four counts of sexual conduct with an animal.
McCollister and his partner Erica Lynne Grove – who is also accused of taking part in the vile abuse – were arrested in December and taken into custody in Warren, Ohio in the US. A six-months-long police investigation has uncovered a horrific video of the couple allegedly engaging in sexual acts with two dogs, according to Warren County.
Prosecutor David Fornshell has said the investigation discovered evidence McCollister and Grove drugged and raped a young six-year-old girl. According to authorities, child sex abuse material was also found involving the same girl.
Fornshell said: “Just when we thought that sex with the dogs was going to be the most horrific part of this case, the detectives discovered evidence of the drugging and raping of a little girl.
“I’m sitting in a room full of people who investigate and prosecute child sexual abuse cases on a daily basis. We’re reviewing the evidence, and it’s just silence. It’s really difficult to even process.”
Fornshell added the investigation is still in its early stages as detectives have doubled efforts to bring the case to a grand jury. McCollister and his partner’s alleged crimes were only brought to light after Google submitted a tip to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children pointing to explicit material involving children which was linked to his IP address.
TMZ reports McCollister has been ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from the two dogs which he is accused of abusing. After his arrest the two dogs were seized by officers and are now safe.
The actor has also been banned from being around all animals and children. McCollister has been handed a total of 30 charges. These charges include four counts of rape, five counts of gross sexual imposition, four counts of sexual conduct with an animal, three counts of endangering children, one count of corrupting another with drugs and a horrid 13 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person.
Grove has been hit with 24 charges. These charges include four counts of rape, one count of corrupting another with drugs, five counts of gross sexual imposition. Alongside these she has been hit with eight counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, two counts of endangering children and four counts of sexual conduct with an animal.
Both McCollister and Grove remain in custody as the case continues. The pair are due to enter their pleas at the Warren County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday (February 4).
