The prime suspect in the Putney Pusher probe has been found dead at this home, it has emerged.
The 44-year-old banker was discovered last night as his home in Chiswick, West London. The police and ambulance service attended the scene last night.
The Met said: “At 19.12hrs on Tuesday, 15 September officers and the London Ambulance Service attended an address in Chiswick, Hounslow after a man was found unresponsive inside a property.
“Sadly, a 44-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed.
“At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called at 7.55pm on Tuesday 15 September to reports of an incident.
“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and a clinical team manager.
“Very sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The unnamed man was under investigation by the police over the Putney Bridge incident where a woman was pushed in front of a double decker on May 5, 2017.
The quick-thinking driver saved her life by swerving and narrowly missing the woman’s head.
The shocking incident was caught on CCTV footage and was widely circulated on social media.
A major police operation launched after the incident saw 50 men interviewed and three arrested – including an American businessman who wasn’t in the country at the time.
