Child, 7, makes heartbreaking name to 911 after discovering mother lifeless inside their residence simply days after ‘man was peering by means of her window’

A brave seven-year-old boy dialed 911 after he found his mom dead inside their Nevada home just days after a man was allegedly peering through her window, according to police.

Amill McClelland made the distressing call on the morning of January 28 after he discovered his mother, Briana Flowers, and her friend, Anfernee Pollard, unresponsive inside her Las Vegas home.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to the call around 7.20am and found Flowers and Pollard, both 31, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Police rendered emergency aid to the mom and man until medical personnel arrived at the home, but unfortunately, both of them died at the scene.

A suspect has not been named by authorities, but Flowers’ family members and friends said her tragic death came after she experienced domestic violence and stalking incidents involving her ex-boyfriend.

Shatiera Davis, a friend of Flowers, told KVVU that on January 21, a week before her death, the mother called police on her former boyfriend after she was left with bruises that required medical attention. He has not been identified.

‘She basically told me her ex-boyfriend had tried to kill her,’ Davis, who is also McClelland’s godmother, told the outlet.

Davis said her friend also mentioned that a man had been peeking through her window while she was sleeping.

‘She saw someone looking in her blinds in her house while she was asleep,’ Davis detailed. ‘She told me, she said, I just had a feeling to wake up and I looked out my window and someone was staring at me.’

After noticing the man, Flowers went outside and spotted someone, who she believed was her ex, getting into an Uber.

Flowers was also ignoring calls from an unknown number before her death, Davis said.

The LVMPD has not confirmed if the deaths, now being investigated as a double homicide, are related to the reported stalking incident.

Before she was killed, friends had been staying with Flowers at her home to help her feel safe, including Pollard.

The 31-year-old, known to his loved ones as ‘Big Bang,’ was visiting Flowers from his home in Belize at the time of their deaths, according to a GoFundMe page.

‘He lost his life during a violent incident, and those who knew him know he was the kind of man who always stood as a protector and safe space for the people he loved,’ the page read.

Meanwhile, on top of the alleged abuse from her ex-boyfriend, Flowers was going through a hard time in her personal life before she died, family members told KVUU.

Her mother had recently passed away, leading her to get custody of her sisters, they revealed.

Now her sisters and young son have to go on without her.

A GoFundMe page has since been created to help raise money for McClelland, who was ‘his mom’s whole world.’

The donations are set to go toward the little boy’s future, including education and extracurricular activities, the page read.

As of Sunday morning, more than $11,500 had been raised to help McClelland.

Davis said she is going to make sure her godson is taken care of, especially now that he is without his mother.

‘She just wanted to see Emile’s smile…she just wants to spend time and make his birthdays as special as possible for him,’ she said.

Davis added: ‘I just want Briana to know that her family loves her. We’re going to step up and make sure Emil has that foundation that he needs in this time. We’re going to make sure he’s okay.’

Pollard’s family has also asked the public for financial assistance to get his body shipped home to Belize for his final burial.

In order to do so, they have to pay $14,000 ($28,000 BZD), which is ‘far beyond what our family can manage on our own,’ the page read.

More than $2,000 has been raised as of Sunday morning.
